WINTER AT LE LUNELLE

Le Lunelle is the ideal location to thoroughly enjoy wonderful opportunities in the Lanzo Valleys: mountain tops in Val d'Ala and in Val Grande are ready to welcome you with their ski slopes, skating and snowshoeing tracks.
Snowshoe your way to the panoramic views of the “balcony track” in Val Grande, or explore the evocative amphitheatre at Pian della Mussa! Check out the magical path to Val Servin.
In 20 minutes from Le Lunelle you can reach both mountain ski resort at Ala di Stura or the ice skating facilities and the small Pakino skilift in Balme, ideal for families with kids.
Starting in Balme you also find the 20 km long skiing track going from 1400 mt to 1900 mt altitude, with different difficulty levels.
In addition, straight from our location in Mezzenile, you can depart for adventurous walks and hikes in all seasons, with and without snow!

SUMMER AT LE LUNELLE

The Lanzo Valleys offer a variety of pleasant opportunities for sport and amusement during the Summer: walks and excursions through mule-tracks and ancient paths for every taste and different levels of difficulty, suitable for families with kids, excursion circuits, trekking and Alpine tours for expert mountain-climbers including the historical GTA (Great Traverse of Alps) and the Bessanese Tour.
Several locations offer the possibility to practice falesia sport climbing, even suitable for beginners.Don’t miss the Balme adventure-park where kids and adults can enjoy the thrill of walking on treetops, through suspended bridge, take on archery and several other entertainments in wild nature.
You'll also be able to go on horseriding trips and reach small ranches (Agriturismi) where you’ll find a familiar hospitality for the night! For mountainbikers: a variety of tracks up to very demanding ones will reward you by breathtaking pristine landskapes!
If you're looking for stronger emotions... You’ll be able to hang glide from several locations as well as go rafting or canoeing down the icecold mountain waters of the Stura torrent.

VENARIA Royal Palace and TURIN: history, beauty and culture

If you wish to enrich your mountain stay with a touch of historical touring emotions, in about half an hour from Mezzenile you can reach the Reggia di Venaria (Venaria Royal Palace) and its ancient surrounding village. Venaria Reale (at the suburbs of Turin) is a magnificent group of royal buildings (80.000 sq mt) surrounded by 60 hectar gardens, close to the historical sixteenth century village and to the 3,000 hectar fenced hunting reserve of La Mandria Park. This precious masterpiece of architecture and nature was declared UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997.
If you wish to visit Turin: in about one hour drive you can be right under the Mole, in downtown Turin.
